Setting Up your E-mail

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Go to the Tools menu and click on E-mail Accounts
  3. Set up you e-mail account using the following settings:
  4. Enter Your Name and your E-mail Address
  5. For the Incoming mail server (POP3) and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) use mail.ocreativesecurehost.net
    Be sure to write down your old Outgoing mail server in case you need to undo these settings
  6. Enter your User Name (full e-mail address) and Password
  7. Go to More Settings and the Outgoing Server tab
  8. Select “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
  9. Check Use same settings as my incoming mail server
  10. Go to Advanced Tab and under Server Port Numbers enter Outgoing mail (SMTP) : 25 (or 26 as alternate )
    Note on this page the Delivery options. I would recommend the following settings.

    1. Check the box “Leave a copy on the server”
    2. Check the box “Remove from server after ” and enter 30 “days”
    3. Check the box “Remove from server when deleted from ‘Deleted Items’”
  11. Click OK then Next and then Finish
  12. Send a message to yourself to confirm the settings are correct
