Designing Annual Gala Materials to Elevate Fundraising Impact

Every year since 2012, LAFC has hosted Casual for the Cause, their signature fundraising gala. They approached Ocreative to help them bring each year’s theme to life through print marketing, event branding, and strategic design support. While the event title remains the same, each year’s gala features a new sub-theme that we translate into a full creative vision, including:

  • Save the Date postcards
  • Printed invitations with RSVP cards
  • Social media graphics
  • Onsite event collateral, such as table numbers and banners

Translating Annual Themes Into Cohesive Print + Event Branding

We begin each year by listening closely to the LAFC team’s vision for that year’s theme. Then we deliver:

  • Mood boards and concept decks to present theme directions, title options, and color palettes
  • A refined theme identity that blends the organization’s mission with playful, celebratory elements
  • Cohesive print collateral that helps build excitement, improve attendance, and ensure an exceptional guest experience

Once a direction is approved, we execute the full suite of print and digital assets. Working with a trusted local printer, we ensure every piece meets the highest standards of quality.

And because this cause is so close to our hearts, Ocreative donates all creative work for the gala every year.
